Lis Wiehl (born September 19, 1961) is a famous American author, and former legal analyst for Fox News.
She's an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, and formerly was an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She has offered legal commentary on the National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. She appears weekly on The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs Now. The Imus breakfast show. The Legal Lis podcast and radio show.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima and attended West Valley High School. She has an undergraduate degree in Arts at Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) along with the JD degree at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl is a former prosecutor for The US Attorney. She worked as a correspondent for legal issues to NPR's All Things Considered. She was "the assistant chief investigator of Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee at the moment of Clinton's impeachment." The time she worked at University of Washington School of Law Seattle was from 1995 until 2001. She was the director of the school's Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was employed as a Fox News legal analyst from 2001-2017.
