Niykee who's had many a hectic few years which included getting picked by Snoop to join him at the YouTube Brandcast May 2013 Niykee maintains a consistent songwriting schedule despite all this. The young producer is now drawn to her, and is always looking at most recent beats. Many end up inspiring song ideas. She claims that she is able to discern if a beat is good in just five minutes. Then, a new song will pop into her mind. While I play the guitar outside on my porch the words begin to flow. Most times, it's accomplished in about 30 minutes. Niykee's past pain is a constant source of inspiratation as she progresses as a writer. The pain I felt growing as a child and that of losing my sibling is still reflected in my lyrics, even though they're not literally. It shapes my songs and helps to create this greater significance behind everything that is among the most significant things for me. I want to be able to say that I'll be able to hear any of my music 20 years later and be proud of what I said.
