Bellamy Young
Young was a performer when she began her career as a theatre actor. She made her Broadway debut on Broadway in the year 1997 with Mary as the lead actress of The Life. The show was performed Off Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily we Let's Roll (1994) and Randy Newman's Faust, (1995-1996). She made her first appearance on the TV screen in 1995 as the character Dr. Courtney Evans. She appeared on Law & Order in 1997 and 1998, in two distinct role. In film, she made her debut in 1999. Her debut film was the role of a minor character in Black and White. In the following years she appeared in various independent films. In the early 2000s, Young began appearing as the guest actor on a range of dramas on TV and comedy series, like The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. From 2000 until in 2011, Young was a regular guest on more than 30 appearances in television programs. In 2003, Young appeared as a regular in The USA Network show Peacemakers. The show was cancelled after just one season, which was nine episodes. She had recurring roles in the Lifetime legal drama series For the People as Deputy Dist. Atty. Agnes Hunt in 2002, on NBC time-drama American Dreams as Diane Shaw in 2003. She also appeared on NBC's Scrubs as Dr. Grace Miller in 2004 in the role of an Assistant State Attorney Monica West on CBS's CSI: Miami (2005-06), as well as on the ABC Primetime soap drama Dirty Sexy Money (2008-2009) in the role of Ellen Darling, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Darling family. Also, she played a regular role in Criminal Minds as Beth Clemmons from 2011 until 2013.
